Pinus strobus 'Minima' - dwarf white pine

White (Waymouth) pines are very popular for their soft needles which you want to touch over and over again. They are usually long and come in whorls of 5

Minima is a dwarf variety suitable for small and mid-sized gardens. It grows slowly, forming a compact and rounded head, either grafted on a stem or as a ground-covering plant. The colour of needles is silvery green.

Pines like well-drained, sandy soil, they do not need much fertilizing. They are practically maintenance-free. Fully hardy to min. -37°C (USDA 3b).
