Allow me to present one of the most important flora genera on the planet Earth.
The genus Aloe!
With more than 400 species already classified, essentially concentrated on the island of Madagascar and southern Africa, these plants are related to the production of drugs against cancer and Alzheimer (and also simultaneously linked to the production of potent poisons) exhibit flowers of great beauty, often to the second year of cultivation, at least under the conditions of the warm climates of southern Europe.
It seems, and forgives me the irony, that God had a good time to include more than 3000 biochemical groups in the leaves and sap from Aloes, creating a sort of catalog of medical possibilities compared to existing therapies in any other plant on the planet Earth.
This year only five species will be available in late September and early October in which seedlings can be transplanted safely at stage of third true leaf.
These species are Aloe chabaudii, Aloe cameronii, Aloe swynnertonii, Aloe zebrina and Aloe excelsa.
Please treat yourself to excellence of flowers.
A strong hug to all my new friends
