Zebra Iris Rhizome -Iris pallida Albovariegata

Iris pallida 'Variegata' produces soft blue flowers with a unique variegated foliage. Bearded Irises are the single most popular class of Iris grown in gardens today. "Bearded" refers to the fuzzy strip on each of the drooping falls. The true petals are called standards and are upright and its leaves are quite stiff and grow in fan shaped clumps. Few flowering plants provide so much beauty with so little effort as the Bearded Iris.

The iris isn't fussy about soil - all it requires is sun and good drainage. Not only will you have an excellent supply of cut flowers but also they will multiply annually for continued enjoyment. This iris is hardy in zones 5-9. It grows 48" tall and should be planted about 12" apart in full sun.
