Mammilliaria plumosa - Feather Cactus

The Feather Cactus (Mammilliaria plumosa) is native to Mexico. It is hardy in zones 9-10. In cooler regions grow as a house plant. Provide full sun and water only when dry. It gets it's name from it's feathery looking spines. The whitish-yellow flowers have a strong aroma. This cactus is very easy to grow.
