This is an unusual and decorative vine which provides distinctive flowers, ornamental foliage and dense shade. Popular since colonial times for its long leaves and remarkable blooms which are yellow in color and are shaped similarly to a traditional Meerschaum pipe. The flowers are yellow in color and shaped like a pipe. For screening and privacy in a patio or on a trellis, this is an excellent choice.
