Hemerocallis 'Stella d'Oro' (Daylily) Award winning dwarf daylily. Strap like, medium green foliage. Fragrant, trumpet-shaped, 2-3", canary-yellow colored blooms, and tangerine throat, characterize this popular plant. Usually the first to bloom, and is a prolific repeat bloomer. Peak blooming in late spring/early summer, sporadically throughout the summer with a heavier repeat bloom in early fall. Deadhead to keep blooming.
Dormant in winter. Perfect in containers. Full sun to part shade in well-drained, good garden soil. Considered deer resistant once established. Grows to a mature size of 18-24" tall x 18-24" wide. Hardy in zones 4 - 9. Ships in a 3 inch deep pot. 1985 Stout Medal winner
