Abies balsamea: Balsam Fir

Grows 40 to 75 ft. Often used as a Christmas tree or for land reclamation. The needles are 1-inch long, blunt, rounded and a lustrous dark green. Makes an excellent screen or ornamental and is a good choice for cooler climates.
